So I started this "blog" so that I could write about whats happening in my life. I was not going post about divisive or controversial issues as it would detract from the "family" nature of the blog, However, the other day I read this link about B of A putting together a program to make it easier for illegals to get credit cards and it just infuriated me!

Sorry, but what the Hell are they thinking? All you needto have is a checking account that is current for a while and they will give you an unsecured (not prepaid) credit card. How are they doing this? According to the Patriot Act you can not even open a savings account at a bank without a SSN, yet B of A will let you get an account and give you a credit card with out any real proof that you are who you say you are.

No worries though, the rest of us will have no problem bailing the financial institutions out by paying higher interest rates and bank fees when the vast majority of the people they give these cards to max them out and DON"T PAY THE BILL! No worries for them, what is B of A going to do? They can't sick a collection agency on them or ruin their credit because they will have no way of verifying that the people are who they say they are!

B of A is catering to illegals, plain and simple. And I would bet with the approval of the current administration. Just some food for thought, but did you know that most of the government agency employees who travel on government business use a a government credit card, guess who issues the card? Yep, B of A.

B of A and for that matter, the U.S. government, has just given legal citizens the proverbial middle finger.
